Business Badgers past, present, and future rely on timely, relevant, and engaging communication to stay connected to all things Wisconsin School of Business (WSB). This role helps make that happen. Part of WSB's Marketing & Strategic Communications team, this position plans, creates, and distributes content across WSB's flagship social media channels. From stories and videos to livestreams and memes, you'll craft thumb-stopping content that informs, excites, and inspires our key audiences. You'll also elevate the visibility of WSB faculty as the school's primary media relations contact. This includes developing press releases and story pitches, managing media inquiries, and producing newsletters and other communications that connect our thought leaders with opportunities to shape the global conversation. Social Media Content Development Plan, write, and design compelling content for social media-including images, videos, photos, and copy-that showcases WSB's mission, academic excellence, and research impact. Collaborate with designers, event planners, communicators, and photographers to produce integrated, multimedia storytelling. Media Relations Pitch stories and develop relationships with local and national reporters. Match WSB faculty expertise with timely media opportunities-from interviews and op-eds to features and presentations.
