About The Position

The Global Product & RD team is building up core TikTok products to ensure TikTok deliver the best product experience to all of our users, build the most attractive features to help users enjoy their time on TikTok, earn trust in privacy protection, and more. The Global Product team is growing exponentially. The business lines are ranging from Monetization Technology, Data, Machine Learning, System, Infrastructure, AR Effects, Security Technology and more.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in internet social/community/creative tools products
• Strong passion and curiosity for social products; enthusiastic about exploring new products
• Excellent empathy, strong self-motivation, rigorous logical thinking, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems
• Data-sensitive, with some data analysis skills, and the ability to interpret the meaning and value behind the data

Nice To Haves

• Working experience in direct messaging or creator experience

Responsibilities

• Understand users' social needs on short video platforms and explore new social interaction features
• Lead the design and implementation of related social functions
