About The Position
Boom Entertainment is redefining the way fans engage with sports through innovative, high-quality sports products. Our flagship app, Boom Sports, delivers a fast, fun, and accessible Daily Fantasy Sports experience that’s open to players of all skill levels. With millions of dollars in prizes awarded and a rapidly growing user base, Boom Sports is quickly becoming a go-to destination for sports fans. We’re looking for a part-time Video Editor to edit short-form TikTok videos and support the growth of Boom’s CEO’s personal TikTok account, with the opportunity to contribute to Boom’s broader social channels over time. This role is ideal for someone who loves sports, understands internet culture, and can turn raw, off-the-cuff footage into highly engaging, fast-moving videos with strong hooks, visual flair, and creative polish. You’ll work closely with Boom’s CEO as an editor who can also offer creative input when helpful to shape content ideas, series, and execution. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role with ownership over editing and room to grow alongside Boom’s marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience editing short-form video content for TikTok, including familiarity with current TikTok trends and editing styles.
- Ability to independently edit a video from start to finish.
- Comfort working fast and turning around edits with minimal back-and-forth.
- Love of sports, sports betting, or online gaming.
- Reliable and responsive, especially when something needs to go live same day.
- Brings good energy and stays engaged, even when work moves quickly or changes direction.
Nice To Haves
- Experience editing TikTok or Instagram content for someone else’s account.
- Experience with tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, CapCut, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form vertical videos for TikTok.
- Turn raw footage into clean, engaging edits with captions, graphics, and sound effects.
- Follow direction while also suggesting small improvements or creative touches when helpful.
- Support daily and recurring video series, including time-sensitive posts tied to sports schedules.
- Support posting cadence to ensure content goes live consistently and on time.
- Deliver finished videos in a consistent, repeatable style.
