About The Position

We are seeking an LA-based, proactive, and detail-oriented Social Commerce Associate to join our team. This role is designed as a 6-month immersive, academy-style program that provides hands-on training across the core pillars of social commerce, with a clear growth path into an Account Manager–style role. As a Social Commerce Associate, you will work closely with our Accounts, Shop Operations, and Strategy teams while learning the day-to-day management of client accounts. You will gain deep exposure to shop operations, affiliate management, and paid media, while supporting client communication and campaign execution. This is an ideal role for someone eager to learn quickly, take ownership, and grow into a client-facing leadership position.

Requirements

  • Based in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field, preferably in digital marketing, e-commerce, or social media.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for clients.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing and interpreting performance metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of TikTok Shop and social commerce trends.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Lark and Slack.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured onboarding and training program covering:
  • TikTok Shop operations and platform fundamentals
  • Affiliate management strategy, outreach, and execution
  • Paid ads fundamentals and performance analysis
  • Gain hands-on experience by supporting live client accounts under senior team guidance.
  • Shadow Account Managers and attend client calls to understand best-in-class client communication and strategy.
  • Support day-to-day client communication, ensuring timely responses and accurate follow-through.
  • Assist in preparing agendas, notes, and follow-ups for weekly client cadence calls.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships through clear, professional communication.
  • Prepare weekly client decks, including performance metrics, insights, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure all client deliverables are completed on time and align with client goals.
  • Drive Affiliate Management - implementing strategy, affiliate outreach and communicating with affiliates to ensure they are well informed on the brief, the campaign and any requirements
  • Oversee the implementation of client strategies, including affiliate management, product listings, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify opportunities to optimize results.
  • Partner with the creative, and operations teams to execute client projects seamlessly.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Accounts to align on strategic priorities and escalate any client concerns as needed.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) for client accounts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations to drive growth.
