As a SNAP Youth Justice Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of youth aged 12-19 who are currently on probation and battling challenges in emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, and self-control. Utilizing the evidence-based SNAP Program—STOP NOW AND PLAN—you'll guide participants through one hour of engaging sessions each week for 13 weeks, or twice a week for six weeks, equipping them with essential skills to navigate difficult situations in a constructive manner. You'll collaborate closely with the youth and their probation officers, ensuring tailored support for improved decision-making. This role is not just about delivering the program; you’ll maintain comprehensive documentation, oversee data entry for pre and post assessments, and conduct follow-up calls to confirm that the right resources are being utilized. Your proactive communication and teamwork will be vital in fostering better outcomes for these youth, setting them on a path to success and responsible choices.
