About The Position

Orion Security Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Small Projects Coordinator for a full-time position based in Oklahoma City, OK. Orion Security Solutions (OSS) is an elite integration firm with expertise in advanced technical, physical, and information technology (IT) security solutions. The purpose of this position is to support the Internal Operations Division by providing operational coordination for small-scale installations (defined as projects requiring 60 labor hours or less). The Small Projects Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources to ensure the successful delivery of small projects from initiation through completion. This role works closely with field technicians, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined, materials are available, schedules are maintained, and installations meet OSS quality standards. The Small Projects Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence within the Small Projects Division, and may also assist with larger projects or other operational needs as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in security integration, low-voltage systems, construction coordination, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Strong project coordination or project management background is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software, documentation platforms, and general computer applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer service mindset.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proper vehicle registration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage small security integration projects (≤ 60 labor hours) from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, material lists, and delivery timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, technicians, and internal teams regarding small project updates and changes.
  • Confirm site readiness, verify materials and equipment availability, and prepare technicians for daily and upcoming assignments.
  • Ensure project work meets OSS quality standards, industry best practices, and applicable codes or compliance requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot challenges, and proactively resolve issues to minimize delays.
  • Review scopes of work, drawings, photos, daily updates, and closeout documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials.
  • Support accurate project costing, time tracking, billing, and documentation in accordance with company processes.
  • Assist with larger projects by providing scheduling, documentation, or operational support when needed.
  • Contribute to Internal Operations initiatives, including workflow improvements, cross-departmental tasks, and process enhancements.
