About The Position
Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist, February 1 to May 22, 2026 Location: Eastwood Local Schools, Pemberville, Ohio
Requirements
- Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License required.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP process, and school-based service delivery models.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in school-based SLP services preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs.
- Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluation reports as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, related service providers, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with IDEA and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and student service team discussions when scheduled on working days.
- Promote functional communication skills to support student engagement in academic and social settings.
