Slot Technician
About The Position
Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of slot machines; assists with slot installation and slot floor moves. Responsibilities 1. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance. 2. Replace parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions; may repair some circuit boards, with assistance. 3. May utilize shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts. 4. May occasionally act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas. 5. May be given occasional assignments to provide training to slot technicians, floorpersons or trainees. 6. Maintains moderate skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions, with possible advanced skills in either. 7. Performs general and preventive maintenance slot machine inspection, machine moving and installation. 8. Investigate slot drop and meter variances. 9. Investigate door switch communications and make necessary repairs. 10. Investigate and review slot system reports and make necessary repairs. 11. Be in compliance with all company policies, internal controls and Missouri Gaming Commission regulations. 12. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications 1.
