About The Position

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and testing of all gaming devices. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding the maintenance, repair and testing of gaming devices. Responsible for maintaining inventory of equipment. Conducts testing for tribal and state machine compliance testing.

Requirements

  • All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of progressive controllers and progressive signage.
  • Knowledge of computers and electronics.
  • Understanding and Knowledge of Title 31 reporting requirements.
  • Cash handling skills, ability to process currency transactions accurately.
  • Six (6) months experience in Slots, a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
  • Must be able to acquire/maintain all necessary state and tribal gaming licenses.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Obtains the proper personnel to address guests needs.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance and cleaning of Slot Machines/signage.
  • Responsible for maintaining control of keys and all equipment needed to perform normal job duties.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs slot machine issues in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Maintains proper documentation on department repair logs, shift logs, pm logs, M.E.A.L. cards, etc.
  • Maintains communication and cooperates with various departments by radio in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicates professionally with outside vendors to open service tickets.
  • Responds to floor calls timely and courteously.
  • Ensures all slot machines are secure.
  • Assist with the setup of the slot tournament including the conversion of gaming machine devices.
  • Maintains parts control log and maintains all parts of the player tracking system.
  • Assists floor personnel with hand pay jackpots and machine malfunctions.
  • Maintains all machine lights, bill validators, LCD’s, TITO printers, filters and all other moving parts of slot machines and signage.
  • Move machines, wire machines to the slot system, install and test all necessary locks, follow proper procedure for final drops and meter captures.
  • Test all player tracking components for functionality and accuracy and proper point accumulation.
  • Replace slot machine components including but not limited to, bill validators, printers, buttons chairs, door switches, lights, monitors, and all player tracking components.
  • Install software including wiping the hard drive, RAM clearing/set chipping for all manufacturers, install correct conversion software including OS and game software.
  • Correctly option games from all manufacturers.
  • Must keep up to date on new and changing technologies for all manufacturers of gaming devices.
  • Properly wire games for linked progressive communication.
  • Monitors machine entry logs.
  • Assist with soft count during drop as requested.
  • Assist Slot Technician Manager in gaming compliance regulations system reports.
  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Complies with BlueWater Resort & Casino rules and regulations and ensures that all employees are in compliance, and complies with federal, state and tribal laws.
  • Ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
  • All other duties as assigned and/or directed (maintaining segregation of duties).
