About The Position
Join Our Team as Slot Maintenance Support! Are you hands‑on, detail‑driven, and energized by fixing, building, and bringing equipment back to life? As Slot Maintenance Support, you’ll be the expert ensuring our slot machines look their best and operate safely from the outside in. Job Purpose: This position maintains the external appearance of slot machines. Visually inspects and documents broken or defective outer machine sections or parts, replaces cabinet door hinges and hardware, and builds, repairs, laminates and/or resurfaces cabinets and pedestals. It also maintains the inventory of all EGM’s and parts in the Slot warehouse, and works with other departments by communicating department needs for EGM placement. Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time) Maintains the external appearance of slot machines Secures slot machine inventory Maintains a safe work and storage area Works with Management to layout slot placements
Requirements
- High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D.
- Carpentry experience/knowledge
- 2 years electronic systems maintenance and repair experience/knowledge
- Inventory Reconciliation Experience
- Ability to resurface and laminate cabinets
- Ability to repair machine cabinets and pedestals
- Ability to use tools and equipment required for position
- Working knowledge of AC/DC digital electronics
- Ability to diagnose and repair power supplies, monitors, and circuit boards
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to use hand power tools
- Ability to carry 40 lbs
- Ability to regularly lift 100 lbs
- Ability to move machines in excess of 200 lbs with a hand truck/utility dolly
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
- Ability to perform with minimum supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
- Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
- Ability to compose written documents in the English language
- Ability to learn tasks applicable to level of position
