About The Position
The Role: TheSlot Attendant t is responsible for providing Superior service to all guests, performs minor repairs to gaming machines, troubleshoots machines and documents malfunctions unable to repair at machine level.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization.
- Mississippi State Gaming License
Responsibilities
- Prepares slot payoff requests and tax forms for jackpots, obtaining verification and payment as appropriate, in a manner consistent with MGC regulations, internal controls and slot department operating procedures.
- Troubleshoots and repairs minor problems at the machine.
- Documents those repairs unable to fix at machine level.
- Responds to requests for information, changes large denomination currency into requested bills.
- Provides superior levels of guest service to both internal and external guests.
