About The Position

The Slot Floor person is responsible for quickly and accurately performing fills and jackpots on machines, as well as minor repairs. A Slot Floor person walks the casino floor, making themselves available to assist customers and provide friendly, courteous service at all times.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, pull, push and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to push and pull heavy carts.
  • Must be able to turn key constantly.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and twist.
  • Must be able to continuously and quickly maneuver around casino Slot areas for entire shift.
  • Must be able to tolerate stressful situations and frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to accurately count and verify banks when necessary.
  • Must be able to have dexterity in both hand and finger movement.
  • Must be able to handle and solve any concerns and questions customers may have.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to mentally add, subtract and multiply large amounts of money at a rapid and accurate pace.
  • Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • One year previous slot floor person experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Protects company assets and equipment.
  • Verifies and pays jackpots and fills efficiently and accurately.
  • Moves bagged and rolled coin as needed for the department.
  • Provides quick, friendly service to every customer.
  • Uses appropriate procedures to check in/out Booth Cashiers.
  • Completes, verifies and signs appropriate documents.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
