The Operations Supervisor Slitter leads a high-volume slitter operation, ensuring safe, efficient, and stable production while developing a strong frontline team. This role provides hands-on, floor-based leadership and owns shift performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development. Reporting to the Slitter Manager, this role oversees a 12-hour shift team operating on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule and is essential in driving productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4–5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (high-volume/printing a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety, and quality systems.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and solve problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Leads, Operators, and Associates.
  • Own day-to-day production performance for the assigned shift.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, ISO, QMS, and Standard Work.
  • Identify process gaps, reduce variation, and drive continuous improvement using Lean tools.
  • Communicate shift performance, risks, and action plans to leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve operational issues.
