GENERAL SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operate skid steer, excavator & snow plows Coordinate preventative maintenance and leaving of equipment Maintain proper fluid levels in each piece of equipment Drive trucks to transport crews Communicate with Shop regarding equipment condition and problems Follow supervisors instructions With the possibility of working weekends, holidays and overtime. PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Class D license Ability to get Medical DOT card OSHA training preferred MA & RI Hoisting License preferred Must abide by all safety policies Proficient at operating a skid steer with hand controls Swap and operate different attachments such as road saw, trimmer & sweeper WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Be able to work in extreme weather conditions The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, works outdoors under adverse weather conditions such as hot and or humid or cold and or stormy weather Works with hazardous materials Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and stooping-bending up to 80 lbs several hours a day Be able to stand several hours a day Be able to work the snow season The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to do this job.
