About The Position
To ensure that the hotel guest, associates, and snow sports area property are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate aerial and surface lifts
- Assists loading and unloading of all passengers.
- Grooms and maintains all loading and unloading areas for surface and aerial lifts.
- Ensures maximum guest, associates, and snow sports area safety and security at all times.
- Be courteous, tactful, and helpful, but firm in enforcing snow sports area policies and procedures.
- Report hazards at all times and mark then as required.
- Remain for sweep at sessions end and only leave post once lead patrol/hill captain have approved all clear.
- Assist with lift lines.
- Keep lift shacks clean.
- Promote safe, controlled skiing and snowboarding
- Assist Lift/Snow making supervisor when needed and should be aware of extra duties such as shoveling snow, placing bamboo, and other duties as needed.
- Operate all lifts in an efficient, effective, and dignified manner
- Monitor lift load/unload stations in order to keep a clear load/unload area.
- Assist any passenger that may need instruction on how to use the lift.
- Wear neat, clean, conventional ski wear that is in good condition.
- also may work tubing station and mini snowmobiles
