About The Position
Join a fast-paced data center construction project where safety leadership is critical to successful execution. We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager with a strong background in electrical construction and data center environments. š Job Details Location: Plano, TX Start Date: ASAP Duration: 2 Months Type: 1099 Contractor š° Compensation š² Rate: $52 - $56/hour š½ Per Diem: None Available šø Pay Frequency: Weekly š Schedule Shift: Night Shift Hours: 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM Schedule: Monday - Friday, possible Saturdays Estimated Hours: 50-60 hours/week š Project Scope This position provides full-time safety oversight for electrical installation activities on a data center construction project.
Requirements
- OSHA 510 Certification Required
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
- Experience with electrical construction and/or data center builds
Nice To Haves
- NFPA 70E (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and electrical safety practices
- Experience with energized work, lockout/tagout, and hazard mitigation
- Excellent communication and field leadership skills
- Ability to work independently on night shift operations
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols during electrical installation work
- Support energized work planning and compliance with electrical safety standards
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to OSHA and site-specific requirements
- Promote a proactive safety culture in a high-risk, fast-paced environment
