The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment at a U.S. Army contractor site focused on equipment turn-in, retrograde, and property disposal operations. This role ensures adherence to OSHA, DoD, and Army safety standards and actively promotes a culture of safety among all site personnel and subcontractors. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include recordable incident rate (RIR), number of safety training hours completed per month, near miss and hazard report closure rate, audit and inspection pass rate, and compliance with the site-specific safety plan.
