About The Position

Jeffers Crane Service, Inc. is seeking Job Site Safety Coordinator. The position
requires 3+ years of related experience as a safety professional in the crane
and rigging industry and/or construction industry.

Requirements

• Minimum OSHA 30 hour certification
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• 3+ years of Refinery experience
• Experience with Cranes/ heavy equipment
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written format, i.e. report writing.
• Experience in accident investigation.
• Ability to operate a personal computer.

Responsibilities

• On-boarding New Hires- New hire Orientation, employee verification (I-9’s), drug screen management
• Field safety audit - client and company audit programs
• Assist with Incident investigations
• Conduct Daily toolbox meetings
• JHA collection and review
• Reporting directly to company safety manager
• Address safety concerns of company employees and client management
• Rigging inspections
• PPE distribution
