About The Position

This position will assist in the enhancement and improvement of our Ecommerce online guest experience and collaborate with multiple partners to execute a merchandise strategy to drive sales growth. The role is responsible for supporting the successful launch of all merchandise for Destinations, Brands and Events, and for the day-to-day communication and coordination on all matters related to merchandise launches. It involves managing creative submissions and approvals with key internal and external partners to ensure timely product launches, and reviewing eCommerce performance against all DTC KPIs and SLAs. The Site Merchandiser will work closely with a 3rd party service provider to ensure a high-quality guest merchandise shopping experience. Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience in an equivalent or similar role.
  • Understanding of eCommerce platforms and tools (Shopify, Magento, Google Analytics).
  • Good level of PC skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The role requires extensive collaboration with various teams (internal and external) across various time zones.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Flexible and adaptable regarding learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to take ownership, work independently, and produce accurate and timely results.
  • Capable of balancing competing priorities while working on a variety of activities that span across many different functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skill or strong interest in merchandising, a keen eye for trends, and a passion for eCommerce.
  • Understanding of key eCommerce metrics and their typical application in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Merchandise Strategies: Assist in the development of merchandise launch strategies to achieve our eCommerce financial goals. Responsible to ensure the successful execution of all product launches, as set out on the eCommerce merchandise launch calendar. Optimizing the online assortment breadth to deliver a superior guest experience.
  • Coordinate: With a many external (3rd party) and internal partners (e.g., brand & category merchandising, marketing, and site operations) to ensure timely execution of eCommerce channel product launches. Track compliance, completion, and communicate deadlines to key partners.
  • Site Merchandising: Oversee the visual presentation of products on the website. Partner with our 3rd party provider to ensure alignment, timely execution, and an appealing guest experience is achieved.
  • Marketing: Responsible to partner with internal UDX and external 3rd party partners to ensure alignment and timely execution of all marketing and promotional campaigns. Ensure a consistent, targeted, and great guest experience.
  • Performance Review: Participate and coordinate in regular eCommerce channel performance reviews, compiling results and data from cross functional partners including, results, insights on performance, with regards the channels performance to KPI’s, SLA’s, and financial goals.
  • Analyze Results: Responsible to review eCommerce reporting (KPIs & SLA’s), and site analytics to gain insights on performance and trends. Share recommendations with regards improving the online product assortment.
  • Competitor Analysis: Research and analyze eCommerce merchandise trends, perform competitor analysis. Provide insights on trends, emerging categories, and gaps in our assortment to exploit. Provide recommendations to keep our eCommerce experience competitive.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
