About The Position

We are looking for someone to do facility maintenance for one of our Hillsboro car washes. We need you to have the flexibility to work days and evenings, depending on the need. Position is 100% physical. This position requires someone to be on their feet for their entire shift, aside from breaks and lunch. The job will consist of cleaning tasks around the property: Wiping down equipment and sanitizing vacuum areas through the shift. Cleaning walls and windows with cleaning chemicals and cleaning tools every evening. Light landscaping duties/weeding, raking, blowing the lot with a gas blower. Chemicals are used throughout the shift for cleaning and maintenance: Rubbing alcohol, wall cleaner, glass cleaner, Tire Wheel and Body (TWB), Wash Material Cleaner (WMC), gasoline, de-icing agents, and hand soap. This position will include daily tasks being assigned throughout the facility. Together with the Location Manager, the ideal candidate will formulate schedules that work with the hours of business and have a detailed maintenance plan laid out. This position requires someone who is self motivated and a self starter. All questions are required. If you skip any questions, your application will not be considered.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Able to lift 50 lbs
Use tools: Broom, dustpan, ladder, gas leaf blower, various hand tools, screw driver, wrenches, pliers, etc...
Use of PPE is required: Bump Cap/Hard Hat, gloves, goggles, safety glasses, slip resistant shoes/boots, face shield, etc...
Must be self motivated and a self starter

Responsibilities

Cleaning out vacuums (Bending, stooping, kneeling)
Ladder work (6 ft, 12 ft, and 16 ft ladders)
Cleaning while on the ladder
Wiping down equipment and sanitizing vacuum areas through the shift
Cleaning walls and windows with cleaning chemicals and cleaning tools every evening
Light landscaping duties/weeding, raking, blowing the lot with a gas blower
Formulate schedules that work with the hours of business and have a detailed maintenance plan laid out
