About The Position

The Site Leader is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing and operational activities at the plant to ensure safe, efficient, and timely production. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective communication with both internal teams and customers. The Site Leader fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while driving operational excellence and financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Safety Ensure day-to-day plant operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently to meet business demands Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, quality, environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) standards Promote and maintain an incident- and injury-free workplace through proactive safety leadership and resource engagement Financial & Performance Management Maintain full P&L accountability at the site level to maximize margin growth through optimized plant performance Develop, manage, and control site budgets; monitor actual vs. planned performance and implement corrective actions Optimize production costs year over year through operational efficiencies and disciplined cost management Strategy & Continuous Improvement Develop and execute site operations strategy, including long-term site master plans and supply chain network strategies Implement best practices and standardized processes across procurement, production, packaging, and distribution Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, labor utilization, and asset performance Supply Chain & Logistics Lead supply chain management and procurement activities, including category strategy, supplier relationship management, and competitive bidding processes Drive cost savings and supply stability through strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships Optimize shipping and fleet operations to support current needs and future distribution expansion People Leadership Lead, develop, and coach plant leadership and operations teams Oversee talent selection, performance management, goal alignment, and professional development Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance Capital & Asset Management Develop capital investment proposals; evaluate feasibility and ROI Present recommendations to senior leadership and oversee implementation and effectiveness of approved projects Ensure quality, service, and asset utilization considerations are embedded in all long-term planning decisions Customer & Commercial Collaboration Partner closely with commercial teams and interface directly with customers as needed Ensure customer quality and service requirements are embedded in site and regional strategies Requirements Proven ability to manage site operations with full P&L accountability Experience developing and executing operational strategies and long-term site master plans Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, and process improvement Experience in the Chlor-Alkali industry required
