Making animals’ lives better makes life better – join our team today! Your Role The TechOps team supports Elanco manufacturing and Research & Development (R&D) sites across the North American region. This role, Site IT Analyst, is based at the Winslow, ME manufacturing facility and serves as the primary on-site IT owner for the location, with occasional support for other sites across North America. This position provides end-to-end, hands-on IT support for site infrastructure, end-user technologies, and local IT services in a regulated manufacturing and laboratory environment. The role focuses on assessing, maintaining, and remediating site IT capabilities in alignment with Elanco standards, while ensuring reliable day-to-day operations and effective delivery of local IT projects. hands-on IT support for site infrastructure, end-user technologies, and local IT services in a regulated manufacturing and laboratory environment. Scope: site network and connectivity oversight, hosting and security components, physical cabling, server and room standards, equipment lifecycle management, end-user computing, collaboration and conferencing solutions, telephony, CCTV, access control systems, and dedicated manufacturing and laboratory software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Engineering, IT Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Working knowledge of core IT and business processes, including incident, change, escalation, asset, and lifecycle management, preferably within regulated manufacturing and laboratory environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer systems and infrastructure, including networking, security, wireless technologies, and selected office, manufacturing, quality, and R&D IT systems
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships, fostering constructive and cooperative collaboration over time
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing-related computer systems and data
  • Experience with the ITIL framework and IT service management tools such as ServiceNow
  • Experience serving as an IT systems custodian, including timely CAPA monitoring and fulfillment
  • Previous experience collaborating with and supporting Operational Technology (OT) teams through IT infrastructure expertise
  • Knowledge of regulated manufacturing and laboratory processes supported by IT services

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuity and reliability of critical IT processes, hardware, and software components to support uninterrupted business operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues effectively and efficiently, in compliance with manufacturing site rules, regulations, and standards
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for local site leadership and employees, and as a key liaison to regional and global Elanco IT teams and service providers
  • Lead and manage assigned projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation through completion
  • Escalate issues promptly and communicate status, risks, and resolutions clearly and effectively
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of site-specific business processes and their interaction with IT systems
  • Critically evaluate user requests, leveraging technical and process expertise to identify underlying business requirements and ensure effective solutions
  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the design, development, and integration of IT and OT solutions supporting manufacturing and R&D processes
