About The Position

The Site Director - Facilities Operations oversees daily maintenance operations by managing and repairing mechanical systems, directing facility contracts and budgets, collaborating across departments, and leading a skilled team through clear expectations, continuous training, and a culture of accountability, learning, and high performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum Trade School completion and 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Background check
  • DMV Check
  • Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day
  • Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Job duties may need to be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to reach in all directions and climb a ladder, when needed.
  • Minimum: 7-10 years of building facilities experience; 7-10 years of supervisory experience; and 7-10 years of budget management experience
  • Minimum: GED

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field of study 5+ years relevant experience
  • Preferred: 10+ years of building facilities experience; 10+ years of supervisory experience; and 10+ years of budget management experience
  • Preferred: Related Trade/Technical Certification/License Cleaning Facility Services Certification
  • Preferred: High School

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance operations. Handle a wide array of technical tasks.
  • Manage, troubleshoot and make repairs to the different mechanical systems that control water, heating/ cooling, and air quality.
  • Oversee maintenance contracts (including bidding process) and manages the facilities budget for operating and capital improvements. Work with external vendors and stakeholders as needed.
  • Work across departments and stakeholders to ensure operations running effectively and as expected.
  • Lead and develop the team by setting clear goals and expectations, monitoring performance, and providing regular feedback and guidance. Inspire team excellence by modeling accountability, collaboration, and solution-oriented thinking, and ensure team members are supported, empowered, and high-performing while fostering a positive, purpose-driven culture.
  • Develop staff capability through ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and improvement to strengthen team engagement, retention, and impact.
