About The Position

The Site Coordinator provides day-to-day operational leadership for the residential substance use treatment program. This position ensures a safe, recovery-oriented environment for clients and staff by overseeing facility operations, supervising direct care and peer support professionals, fostering a positive community culture, and collaborating closely with clinical and administrative teams. The Site Coordinator models exceptional customer service, trauma-informed care, and recovery-focused engagement while ensuring compliance with agency policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in residential treatment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Services Management, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in facility or site management, ideally within the healthcare or behavioral health industry.
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of substance use treatment, recovery principles, and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress environments and model healthy boundaries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Competence with electronic documentation systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the residential facility to ensure a safe, clean, and well-structured environment.
  • Monitor facility needs, including supplies, equipment, safety concerns, and maintenance requests.
  • Assist with budget oversight, purchasing, and cost-effective resource management.
  • Implement and monitor operational workflows to support uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Provide direct supervision to all direct care and peer support staff, including scheduling, performance management, coaching, and evaluations.
  • Serve as a professional role model for customer service standards, peer support values, and trauma-informed, client-centered practices.
  • Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for staff, ensuring competency in program procedures, documentation, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented approaches.
  • Assist with preparing, submitting, and tracking requests for authorization for treatment with insurance agencies, ensuring timely approvals and appropriate documentation.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a supportive work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and medical teams to ensure seamless service coordination and continuity of care.
  • Foster a supportive and positive community environment that encourages recovery, engagement, and mutual respect among clients and staff.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally, escalating clinical or safety issues as appropriate.
  • Support data collection and program performance monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, and trainings.
  • Maintain effective, professional communication with internal departments and external partners.
  • Represent the program positively and knowledgeably when interacting with families, referral sources, and community stakeholders.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support program success, organizational priorities, and high-quality service delivery.
