The Simulator Technician reports directly to the Lead Simulator Technician and is responsible for conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to F-35 Pilot Training Devices in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. The Simulator Technician also: Troubleshoots technical problems and issues with the training devices. Determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications. Recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Readies training devices for customer use and assists with mission specific preparations. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization. Maintain DoD 8570 Level IAT-II certification. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Document all unusual operational/maintenance problems to support identifying failure trends. Work with and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant interface with customer personnel at all levels Must be a self-starter and have the ability to establish and maintain a library of technical documentation. Manage and track multiple engineering and logistic support activities, providing periodic status to the customer and program management team.
