About The Position

This is a proposal requisition. Work will begin only if the contract is awarded. Orbis is looking for a Signal Intelligence Specialist to support mission objectives in the Washington Metro Area. The role conducts signals analysis across multiple modalities and delivers clear technical assessments to inform operations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, physical science, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience performing signals analysis in at least one SIGINT modality (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, or PROFORMA).
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency preparing clear written products and delivering succinct briefings for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• 58+ years of SIGINT analysis experience across multiple modalities.
• Experience contributing to analytic trade studies, feasibility reviews, or methodology development.
• Exposure to field, deployed, or operational test environments.
• Familiarity with spectrum analysis tools and signal processing workflows.
• Experience with scripting or automation to streamline analytic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct signals analysis in one or more SIGINT modalities (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, and/or PROFORMA) in support of mission objectives.
• Analyze and interpret technical signal data; identify patterns, anomalies, vulnerabilities, and operational impacts; produce clear findings and recommendations.
• Apply domain expertise from engineering, communications, electronics, or related fields to strengthen analytic methods and results.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to develop and refine analytic methodologies, tools, and workflows.
• Prepare concise reports and briefings that translate technical results for diverse audiences.
