Requirements

  • Experience in AI governance, safety, or risk management function, such as industry, consulting, or public sector
  • Experience with cross-functional product collaboration delivering features with policy or regulatory constraints
  • Experience with assessment frameworks, including privacy, safety, or human rights, and executive briefing or decision support
  • Experience with AI governance and safety practices, such as risk identification, evaluation, guardrails, or incident response
  • Knowledge of global privacy and digital platform regulations, such as regional online safety laws, GDPR, and DSA, and fundamentals of cybersecurity and data protection
  • Knowledge of AI risk frameworks and standards, including NIST AI RMF, ISO and IEC, and AI risk guidance, content provenance or deepfake detection concepts, and policy implications for generative or agentic AI
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Public Policy, International Affairs, Law, or Information Security or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Public Policy, International Affairs, Law, or Information Security

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Government, public sector, national security environment, legislative, or standards engagement
  • Knowledge of Secure-by-design and privacy-by-design principles and incident management for AI-enabled platforms
  • Knowledge of data analysis methods and tools relevant to AI and system evaluation, such as R, Python, or SQL
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of ML lifecycle and model risk
  • Ability to convert policy and risk insights into scalable operational playbooks and vendor training
  • Master's degree in engineering or international policy
  • CIPP, US, CIPM, CISSP, CCSK, ISO, IEC 27001, or PMP Certification
