About The Position

Join Monster Energy Company as a Shopper Insights Intern to participate in impactful research initiatives shaping our in-store strategies. Conduct data analysis on Shopper information and synthesize insights to support sales efforts. Collaborate closely with our team of Insights Managers to gain hands-on experience in the research process, learning how research fuels thought leadership in the Energy Drink Industry.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate interest in Shopper and Consumer insights, market research, retail strategy, and CPG analytics.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Market Research, Marketing, Business, or Analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data organization.
  • Capable of identifying opportunities and solving problems effectively.
  • Ability to work with multiple data sources and structured datasets, showcasing an analytical mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with panel data, survey research, or analytics tools such as SPSS, JMP, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Shopper data to support the Joint Business Planning (JBP) process by preparing analyses for retailer meetings, including running reports and developing shopper profiles for key accounts.
  • Gather and organize data from multiple 3 rd party sources (i.e., Numerator, Nielsen, etc.), to support thought leadership projects and account specific projects.
  • Learn the Research Process and lead the management of the Question Library by organizing and cataloging research questions.
  • Support survey development by writing new research studies with guidance from the team.
  • Program the studies and perform quality assurance testing to ensure proper design flow and logic in the questionnaire.
  • Field the study and analyze the results.
  • Develop summaries, tables, and analyze the data.
  • Aid in crafting the final presentation and share out the key learnings to stakeholders.
