About The Position

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a Shop Parts Coordinator position available at our Irving, Texas location. The hours of the position are approximately Mon-Fri - 7 AM - 5 PM. This position is responsible for ordering new parts, staging parts, inspecting parts, and returning parts/cores in support of the Parts Department. This includes entering Caterpillar parts orders, ordering outside items from external vendors, and tracking parts to ensure the timely arrival of all parts needed for scheduled jobs. This position will also assist the Warehouse Supervisor on special warehouse projects.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work Mon-Friday -7 AM - 5 PM
  • School Diploma or GED Preferred
  • Must have 5 years of customer service and/or warehouse experience. Auto parts industry is highly desired.
  • Must have 3 years of computer experience. Must be proficient in MS Office software. (Word, Excel, Outlook.)
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
  • Must be capable of accurate order processing.
  • Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to interact well with customers and fellow employees.
  • Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds approximately 10 times a day.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Excellent attendance is required.
  • Must have a steady employment history
