About The Position

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Marine/Shipyard Supervisor to oversee daily operations within shipyard and waterfront environments. This role will manage crews performing industrial cleaning services, including tank cleaning, barge dewatering, and oily water handling, while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a shipyard, marine services, or industrial cleaning environment
• Strong understanding of vessel layouts and ability to read marine drawings/plans
• Experience supervising crews in a hands-on work environment
• Knowledge of environmental services, waste handling, or tank cleaning operations preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Outdoor shipyard and marine settings
• Exposure to industrial conditions, confined spaces, and varying weather
• Physical labor and extended hours as required by project demands

Nice To Haves

• CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews performing tank cleaning, vacuum truck operations, and barge dewatering
• Coordinate and oversee marine/shipyard projects from start to finish
• Interpret and work from vessel plans, drawings, and layouts
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
• Act as the primary point of contact with shipyard personnel, vessel crews, and customers
• Conduct job planning, hazard assessments, and daily safety briefings
• Maintain accurate job documentation, manifests, and disposal records
• Monitor equipment usage and ensure proper maintenance of trucks and tools
