About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate / Certified Overhead Crane & Rigging Operator is responsible for all inbound and outbound material handling, documentation, and heavy-lift operations that support eHouse and Switchrack manufacturing. This role requires advanced skill in overhead crane operation, heavy rigging, signaling, and load‑path safety due to the extreme loads handled inside the facility. The Associate must safely maneuver large modular eHouse ranging from 40,000 lb up to 120,000 lb or more, with dimensions up to 65' long, 19' wide, and 13' tall, using overhead cranes, coordinated dual‑hoist systems, forklifts, spreader bars, and rigging assemblies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certified overhead crane operator.
  • Certified rigger
  • 2–3 years experience handling 40,000–120,000 lb loads.
  • Ability to read rigging charts, drawings, and load diagrams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in modular building or industrial fabrication.
  • Forklift certification (Class IV/V).
  • Telehandler or aerial lift certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and document inbound equipment, steel structures, and long‑lead components.
  • Prepare outbound shipments, crates, BOLs, and packing lists.
  • Maintain accurate ERP records in Deltek and D‑Tools.
  • Operate overhead cranes, dual‑hoist systems, and spreader bar lifts for loads between 40,000 lb and 120,000 lb.
  • Perform rigging calculations including load weight, center of gravity, and sling angles.
  • Execute complex lifts of oversized structures safely and efficiently.
  • Stage, organize, and distribute materials for production.
  • Operate forklifts (5,000–50,000 lb capacity), telehandlers, and pallet jacks.
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Plan safe load paths and move massive structures within the shop.
  • Align eHouses for welding, integration, FAT testing, and loadout.
  • Coordinate movement with spotters, Manufacturing Leads, and PMs.
  • Maintain certifications for crane, rigging, and forklift operation.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and maintain rigging logs.
  • Participate in safety meetings and ensure PPE compliance.
  • Track inbound/outbound shipments and material logs.
  • Enter receiving data into Deltek / D‑Tools.
  • Track daily labor hours.
  • Maintain rigging inspection logs and equipment records.
