Their commitment to quality and dedication to excellence is the driving force behind their success. We have an immediate opening for a Shipping & Receiving Person for our store in Great Bend, KS. The successful candidate will focus on; unload and load inbound outbound freight, picking parts for customer/transfer truck, putting parts away efficiently and accurately, cleaning up and improving warehouse, assisting with local delivery, and picking up parts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Pass a drug and background screening.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from the ground unassisted.
- Clean driving record.
- 1 Year or more Warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience or certification.
Nice To Haves
- Class "C" or above a plus.
Responsibilities
- Unloading and loading freight using a sit-down forklift.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized.
- Pull parts for customers and transfer truck.
- Putting parts away accurately and efficiently.
- Check in and shipping out parts.
- Report any problems or discrepancies to management.
- Work effectively as a member of a small team.
- Assist picking up and or delivery parts to customers or vendors.
