About The Position

Do you have experience with Warehouse Stockroom in a manufacturing warehouse environment? Are you a team player? We are seeking a self-motivated person to join our Warehouse Team at our Butler, WI facility, minutes from Milwaukee! Warehouse Team Member will be using a variety of hand and power industrial trucks (pallet jack, rider pallet to start. then eventually reach truck, sit down rider, roll grab, as needed) to transport items throughout plant and warehouse, move finished product into and out of inventory, pull orders both FTL and LTL, unload trucks, etc.). Also receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the facility. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse shipping/receiving role, and prior experience using Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving Programs on the computer (typing, data entry, submitting forms, warehouse inventory software, setting up FedEx/UPS on the computer, printing labels, etc.). WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE? Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Uses computer to enter records. Drives the Walkie, Rider Pallet, Reach Truck, Sit Down Rider, Yale, or Roll Grab to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment. Maintains inventory records. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer Communicate with co-workers and others to carry out job duties. QualificationsSUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IN THIS ROLE HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS Proven experience in a Warehouse, Shipping and/or Receiving role in a MANUFACTURING environment. 1-2yr computer knowledge strong organizational and memory skills Prior power industrial truck experience in a production environment. Proficient using shipping software and inventory systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Capable of maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and locations within the warehouse. Effectively read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Competent with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, as well as dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to walk and stand frequently during an eight-hour shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Physical Demands: stand, bend, reach, crouch for 8-hour shift and frequently lift up to 30lbs and up to 50lbs occasionally, repetitive grasping, frequent climbing, twisting, lifting above shoulder height, occasional bend, reach, crouch, or stop. Sensory requirements are tactile/touch with hands and digits, neat and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Warehouse, Shipping and/or Receiving role in a MANUFACTURING environment.
  • 1-2yr computer knowledge strong organizational and memory skills
  • Prior power industrial truck experience in a production environment.
  • Proficient using shipping software and inventory systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Capable of maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and locations within the warehouse.
