Requirements

Associate degree (or higher) in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field AND 5+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination)
Strong background in: ISO 9001 & Quality Systems Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with ERP/MRP/CMMS systems (SAGE 100 preferred)

Forklift operation experience
Experience training others on forklift operation

Responsibilities

Oversee daily shipping & receiving operations for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
Set priorities, create schedules, and keep workflow running smoothly
Train, coach, and develop your team in safety and best practices
Manage incoming & outgoing freight (FTL/LTL), carrier selection, routing, labeling & packing accuracy
Negotiate freight rates and maintain strong carrier relationships
Perform inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies & maintain tracking systems
Oversee documentation (BOLs, packing slips, manifests, ASNs)
Investigate and resolve freight issues, damaged shipments, and delivery discrepancies
Partner with Manufacturing Operations and Customer Service to keep production flowing
Standardize and improve processes through Lean & Continuous Improvement
Jump in and perform team duties when needed
