Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this position leads shipping, receiving, and logistics operations while developing a strong team, improving processes, and delivering outstanding service to our customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or supervising employees.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and communicate safety policies, procedures, and operating instructions in English.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Solid understanding of domestic and international shipping, logistics, and import/export regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Spanish communication skills preferred but not required.
  • APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, clean, and organized workplace by ensuring compliance with all safety, housekeeping, and work policies.
  • Lead and support shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely flow of materials to manufacturing and customers.
  • Oversee domestic and international logistics activities, maintaining compliance with customs and import/export regulations.
  • Identify and implement cost‑saving and efficiency‑improving initiatives that enhance service, quality, and value for both Spacesaver and our customers.
  • Manage transportation costs and carrier performance, securing competitive rates while maintaining reliable, high‑quality service.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures to control and reduce expedited freight.
  • Support accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet production schedules, forecasts, and delivery commitments.
  • Promote strong inventory accuracy through effective stockroom management and leadership of the cycle count process, maintaining accuracy above 95%.
  • Ensure all transactions, documentation, and records are completed accurately and meet compliance requirements.
  • Use sound judgment and problem‑solving skills to make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Lead special projects, continuous‑improvement initiatives, and strategic initiatives as needed.
