About The Position

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Job Description Purpose Responsible for the data entry of the Finish Goods and Ramco receiving programs, preparation of shipping documentation, inventory control and reconciliation, shipping and receiving functions. Duties To prepare, distribute and maintain receiving forms, packing lists, bills of lading and export documentation. To maintain the accurate and timely data entry of the finish goods inventory programs and Ramco receiving system, for all inventory transactions and adjustments, to and from stock. To reconcile inventory system to the physical inventories. To cycle count, daily if needed, finish goods, raw materials and packaging supplies. To keep the warehouse in a neat and clean condition that protects all materials from damage or contamination. Requires direct customer contact with their Transportation, Purchasing and World Support groups as needed. To assist the shipper/receivers, material handlers and shift supervisor as needed. To assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments with Purchasing and Customer Service. To communicate with Customer Service, Scheduling and/or Plant supervision any and all problems that may affect releases to ship or production activity. To provide assistance outside their immediate area of responsibility during vacations, emergency leaves, special projects, etc. To assist in physical inventories and or cycle counts as needed. Support and involvement of WCOM Knowledge 1. Requirements Candidates must exhibit good oral and written communications. Must have good math skills. Must have hands on experience in the use of Forklifts and related material handling equipment. Basic computer skills. Good problem solving, planning and decision making abilities. Must be well organized and accurate, and able to work unsupervised. Support and involvement of WCOM 2. Sources Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. VI.
