About The Position

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. The primary role of this position is to administer and transact in a timely and accurate manner all shipping and receiving documents and process flow. The Coordinator ensures all material and products are properly monitored and accounted for on behalf of the shareholders. It is essential that this role provides accurate routing of shipments and carrier selection for on time shipments to occur. The Coordinator is ultimately responsible for providing accurate and timely service that exceeds customer demands. A successful candidate is a detail oriented, customer service focused, problem solver with the ability to handle assignments efficiently and accurately with little supervision. Requirements

  • Basic Microsoft Office software experience and MRP11 systems
  • UPS, Fed Ex, etc. process knowledge required
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with strong work ethic
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Forklift license

Responsibilities

  • Prepares bills of lading, packing slips and shipping labels.
  • Interacts with sales and customers as needed to resolve shipping issues.
  • Processes and checks incoming paperwork for errors.
  • Assists with material handling including the loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Works to assure proper housekeeping and safety procedures are followed.
  • Assists the scheduling manager with scheduling requirements to ensure on time delivery.
  • Prepares NAFTA certifications and hazardous material declarations.
  • Enters purchase order receipts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
