About The Position

Requirements

• 4+ years' experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving, or logistics (manufacturing environment strongly preferred).
• Supervisory or lead experience required.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving systems and inventory processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to accuracy.
• Forklift certification (training provided if needed).
• Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift or move up to 50 lbs, and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and train logistics team employees.
• Manage daily personnel issues including training, performance, and corrective action in coordination with management.
• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments for shipping, receiving, and inventory personnel, including meeting production and aftermarket sales deadlines.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to meet production and customer demand. Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and ensure work area organization and cleanliness.
• Oversee the daily cycle count process: assign staff, review adjustments, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain accuracy metrics.
• Process shipment transactions in our ERP system and ensure our ERP system accuracy of inventory locations, transactions, and reporting. Assist with preparation and shipment of customer spare parts orders.
• Support annual physical inventory and ongoing variance reduction initiatives.
• Monitor "must-ship" lists, working with scheduling and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review shipping schedules, arrange carrier pickups, and file claims on shortages, damages, or overages. Prepare shipments via FedEx, UPS, freight carriers, and third-party logistics.
• Ensure safe packaging, labeling, and documentation of outgoing product.
• Issue and deliver parts to job orders and the assembly department.
• Transfer materials in/out of production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
• Provide excellent communication with internal and external customers, work closely with Operations, Production, and Aftermarket teams to meet scheduling demands.
