About The Position

Shipping & Logistics Specialist OPERATIONS, SLC (on-site) Job Overview: The Warehouse Associate will assist in the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. They are responsible for performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods accurately and safely. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse preferred.
  • Familiar with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in English

Responsibilities

  • Receiving: Unloading incoming shipments and verifying their contents against packing lists.
  • Checking for damaged or missing items and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Properly organizing received goods for storage or processing.
  • Warehouse Management: Ensuring that all items are stored in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Utilizing equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move and stack goods safely.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse aisles and storage areas.
  • Retrieving items from storage based on orders.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  • Shipping: Preparing shipments for outgoing orders, including proper packaging and labeling.
  • Coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Loading goods onto trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Inspecting goods for quality and accuracy before shipment.
  • Reporting any issues or concerns regarding product quality or inventory levels.
