About The Position

Imprimus Labels & Packaging is a leader in high-quality printed labels and flexible packaging solutions. We take pride in our craftsmanship, customer service, and commitment to excellence across our multi-state manufacturing facilities in California, Texas and Ohio. We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping Lead to join our operations team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating outbound shipments, managing finished goods inventory, and ensuring on-time, accurate delivery to our customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse leadership (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Strong understanding of shipping documentation and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production, customer service, and management teams.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Regularly required to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds of materials or finished goods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing short ladders or step stools.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, including varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
  • Visual acuity is required for reading labels, documents, and computer screens.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Label Traxx software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process all outbound shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and packing lists.
  • Coordinate shipments with third-party carriers and company drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Use and manage carrier portals, including UPS, FedEx, and third-party logistics platforms.
  • Handle commercial invoices for international shipments and ensure compliance with export requirements.
  • Manage and maintain Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and related shipping documentation.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of shipping and receiving supplies.
  • Oversee finished goods stock inventory and perform month-end inventory counts.
  • Support receiving operations as a backup when needed.
  • Oversee the company driver route and ensure deliveries are efficiently scheduled.
  • Utilize Excel and Microsoft Office to track shipments, generate reports, and manage data.
