About The Position

This position assists in the daily activity of coordinating shipments, reviewing vendor guides, meeting deadlines and all the aspects within the shipping department for international customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience with SAP preferred
• General knowledge of shipping and receiving
• Understanding of basic and international shipping principles: Bill of ladings, pack lists, freight class, LTL vs. FTL, collect vs. prepaid, Inco terms, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient with general computer use and applications
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, etc.
• May require the ability to be able to lift, push, and pull at least 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily activity to process and ship orders in a timely manner
• Coordinate with both warehouses to combine shipments between the different locations
• Actively support all safety and work programs
• Assist Customer Service and Sales to prepare proper documentation
• Candidate must have the ability to work diligently unsupervised
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines independently as well as cooperatively with the team
• Complete all other duties and tasks as assigned
