About The Position

Shipping Technicians are responsible for all tasks related to the grading, transportation, storage, and safe handling of products. This includes maintaining and organizing storage areas, receiving and unloading incoming materials, and performing a variety of warehouse duties such as: Checking weight, sampling, and preparing products for shipment Loading and unloading bulk containers Moving and inventorying products in the warehouse Sampling and segregating incoming raw materials Operating bin-washing equipment safely and efficiently Performing all work in compliance with plant and safety regulations Maintaining vehicles in clean, neat, and safe condition Following all established work rules and safety procedures Maintaining housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment Technicians must be knowledgeable of, trained in, and compliant with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Solenis regulations related to pollution control and the handling of hazardous materials. Prompt reporting of any irregularities to supervisors and/or the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Department is required. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Availability to work days, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn and follow all applicable U.S. DOT regulations
  • Physical ability to perform all job-related tasks
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills sufficient to carry out job responsibilities
