About The Position

RxSight® is an ophthalmic medical technology corporation headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California that has commercialized the world’s first and only adjustable intraocular lens (IOL) that is customized after cataract surgery. The company’s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye. OVERVIEW: This position is primarily responsible for inventory control and logistics. This position is responsible for daily activity of warehouse duties which include inventory control and shipping duties.

Requirements

  • Direct work experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and domestic/international shipping.
  • High School Diploma
  • Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system
  • The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis
  • CA Drivers License
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be aware of ERP systems and their functions as well as be able to use Microsoft Office programs like excel and word when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily, shipping, inventory control, and pulling of materials for shipping/deliveries, in an expeditious manner.
  • Performs Assigned Shipping function daily
  • Packaging – Packaging/Assigning specific items to customer order
  • Shipping – Taking packaged orders and creating shipping labels accurately for the designated customer
  • Performs year end physical inventories.
  • Ships and prepares parcels for customer orders domestically complying with company shipping policies.
  • Responsible for shipping, inventory control , proper storage and movement of material for the company’s warehouses.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and requests updates to work instructions as required.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to stocking preferences such as size, type, style, color, or product codes.
  • Performs cycle counts and prepares results reports. Assist in root cause and corrective action analysis to ensure inventory integrity for all material.
  • Arrange stock parts in specific sequence for assembly.
  • Utilizes the ERP System to enter records, ensures transactions are performed correctly.
  • Operates forklifts as required.
  • Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
  • Provides support to cross functional teams to ensure accurate inventory and distribution management to comply with procedures.
