About The Position
Top Guy Footwear is a women's and kids shoe wholesaler that has been operating for over 20 years out of City of Industry, CA (91789). The Shipping Assistant supports daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely movement of goods. This role is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying incoming deliveries, maintaining shipping documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory/shipping software).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company standards and shipping regulations.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against orders, invoices, or packing lists.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Assist in receiving deliveries, inspecting goods for damage, and updating inventory systems.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
