About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Shipping and Receiving team member to join us in Chehalis, WA .  The Shipping and Receiving team is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to load and unload trucks along with pick orders and stock materials. This position is scheduled for 6:00am – 2:30pm. We Offer You! Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues. Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout process. Insure standard work adherence. Meet or exceed the production standards for the position. Perform related work as required. Help in other areas with production, inspection, repair or other duties as assigned. Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player. What You Bring: High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 1 year warehouse and lift truck driving. Manual/finger dexterity skills Ability to use hand tools including tape measure Ability to follow both written and verbal directions. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 1 year warehouse and lift truck driving
  • Manual/finger dexterity skills
  • Ability to use hand tools including tape measure
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal directions
  • Some computer skills
  • 1 year Lift truck driving experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
