About The Position
As a Material Handler in our Shipping and Receiving department your main scope of responsibility is to ensure the accurate and safe handling of all our incoming and outgoing materials. This is an entry level position. We value someone with previous forklift experience. We are willing to certify and train the right candidate. Who we are: PET Processors is a unique plastic manufacturing company that has been in operation for over thirty-five years. We operate out of an impressive historic facility that has been in use since 1937. Here at PET, we are able to custom create plastic pellets for our customers using our various manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate a propane, sit down forklift
- Active listening and ability to follow directions
Nice To Haves
- previous forklift experience
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials onto and off of shipment containers.
- Verify both incoming and outgoing loads with accuracy.
- Safely operate a forklift and adhere to all speed and pedestrian rules.
- Stage finished material post production.
- Stage incoming material for production.
- Conduct product inventor with accuracy.
