About The Position

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing process, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Hires, trains, directs, and supervises shipping team members. Responsible for the management, maintenance, and upkeep of company tractor truck and trailer fleet. Negotiates the price of shipment transportation with carriers and evaluates performance. Monitors real-time shipments, coordinates with third-party logistics providers, and troubleshoots delays, damages, or documentation errors immediately. On-Call Availability: Must be available for "on-call" shifts during active transit windows (including occasional evenings or weekends) to resolve critical shipping issues or carrier emergencies. Communicates shipping pricing, schedules, and changes to customers and carriers. Collaborates and communicates with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment. Prepares and packages items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details. Oversees and assists in the loading of finished goods onto shipping trailers. Identifies and resolves shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise. Maintains accurate documentation of existing inventory, shipped goods, processes, customer service logs, training and safety records. Coordinate with venders on arriving product. Accepts and documents packages and deliveries made to the facility and routes those items to the appropriate locations. Maintains a clean and organized workspace. Completes all other work as assigned.
