Responsibilities

Supervise and train shipping and receiving personnel as needed.
Assign tasks and ensure timely completion.
Oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving activities, including receiving, checking, storing, and preparing goods for shipments.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, Serialization and shipping labels.
Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Work within Customer Portals uploading documentation.
Coordinate with other departments, such as quality, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize shipping processes and resolve any issues.
Identify and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays or damaged goods.
Proactively address any challenges in the logistics process.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Create and implement standard work to improve department.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
