About The Position

Assist the shipping and receiving supervisor, on one or more projects, with the day-to-day administrative operations of a department.

Requirements

• Receives direct supervision.
• Performs technical responsibilities.
• Work is generally structured or recurring.
• Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
• Relevant past experience is not necessarily required.
• 3+ Years of experience in Forklift and Material Handling ideally in heavy steel required.
• Experience with All Terrain extended boom and forklift required, including Telehandler.
• Receives direct supervision.
• Performs administrative or technical responsibilities.
• Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
• Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes.
• Work is generally structured or recurring.
• Entry-level, non-exempt positions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous administrative experience preferred
• Intimidate computer skills including Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative support duties and process documentations as required.
• Set-up and maintain all project filing systems, including archiving project records.
• Generate and distribute available Logs and Reports.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with all customers, external and internal.
• Maintain payroll for Shipping, Receiving.
• Submit orders and track inventory/ consumables.
• Provide assistance with scheduling shipments and incoming orders.
• Other duties as assigned
