About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator ensures the proper shipping of products and receiving of goods. Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for executing daily inbound and outbound material handling activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment between physical inventory and system records. This role supports operational readiness by ensuring materials and products are properly received, documented, stored, and shipped to meet production and field service requirements. The Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the overall material flow across the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Experience with shipping carriers and logistics processes (UPS, FedEx, freight)
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry and documentation processes
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform material handling tasks for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands for handling, packaging, and equipment operation
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30lbs of materials
  • Exposure to warehouse conditions, including noise, equipment, and environmental factors

Responsibilities

  • Execute inbound receiving activities, including verification of materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records
  • Perform outbound shipping activities, including packaging, labeling, and preparation of shipments in accordance with company, customer, and carrier requirements
  • Ensure proper handling, documentation, and shipment of hazardous materials in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all shipping and receiving transactions
  • Assist internal teams to ensure materials are staged and available for production or shipment
  • Assist in maintaining organized warehouse and shipping areas, including proper storage and labeling of materials
  • Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and stock replenishment
  • Assist with internal material movement, including transfers between facilities or departments
  • Ensure proper use of shipping systems, tools, and carrier processes (UPS, FedEx, freight carriers)
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
  • Prepare and execute outbound shipments, including packaging and documentation
  • Process and maintain shipping and receiving records
  • Assist with hazardous material shipments and compliance
  • Support inventory counts and material organization
  • Assist with internal material transfers and kit pulling as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures
